There wouldn’t be any profit in doing that.Īnyways WoW is never going to really die. A game company that cared and loved its players/customers would. I know there are a ton of people like me who love the world, its atmosphere, music, visuals, and many of the stories within it, and have many fond memories, and I would hate seeing all of that be lost. Players who have played WoW should get the single-player re-release for free, and maybe have the option to import characters from their WoW account. More time-consuming MMO aspects like reputation grinding should be significantly reworked, and a day/night cycle that does not match the real world’s introduced so in-game holidays come around more often, maybe we can even get the option for our character to “Sleep” until a certain time. Dungeons and Raids’ difficulty can be scaled so they are soloable, or the character itself’s power can be upped, like in Legacy raids and dungeons, just not as extreme. The assets, story and main quests are all there. But if things go the way they are, and Blizzard is forced to shutdown, I was wondering how many would be interested in WoW being reworked and re-released as a singleplayer thing. So, I have seen many people pushing for a Witcher-style Warcraft RPG.
